This is the single BEST book on Tantra I have read...and I've read a bunch.

The Book of Secrets

Often I am asked about the roots of Tantra and how I have come to teach it in the way that I do.

In the most recent blog, I have published a translation of the Vighyan Bhairav Tantra.  This is the ancient text that I work from primarily.  This text is unique in that it is simply a collection of 112 meditations...no dogma, no precepts, just meditations. 

You will also find that the meditations can be interpreted in many different ways...no super-specific techniques...I love this, it gives me the freedom to share and discover what about each meditation touches me, it calls me to be creative and use my connection to myself to find how each meditation comes to life.

I often look to The Book Of Secrets by Osho where he offers his interpretation of each Sutra (meditation) in the Vighyan Bhairav.  For dedicated Tantrikas I strongly recommend owning this book!

You can also get selected recordings of Osho sharing excerpts from the book...I often listen to this when I meditate in the middle of the day (or nap)...it is very relaxing.  A great way to learn about the essence of the meditations (and good tool for those who experience trouble relaxing and/or sleeping)!
